The company was about to bring its IPO but on 6 August, 2021 it was reported that HDFC bank had decided to suspend the IPO of its subsidiary company HDB Finance. Previously, the company aimed to raise Rs. 8,600 crore. The IPO was an entirely offer for sale (OFS) of 1,21,64,400 equity shares with the face value of Rs. 10 per equity share. According to Moneycontrol, the IPO of HDB Finance Services and HDFC Securities depends on the merger of these two subsidiaries with parent company HDFC Ltd.
